Art Project Success Story

“It was interesting to me to see how many different ideas were portrayed through the same melody. Without words, a song is open to interpretation and for each individual will be thought of differently. It’s more personal that way.”

Art Success Story

“I had never painted to music before. It is very different from painting an existing object, or an idea you have. I loved trying to put the emotion, mood, and flow of the music on paper, even though it seemed difficult at first. Something I realized was that when you paint to music you are actually changing one kind of art into another. Only the form changes, not the flow and communication.”

Success Story from 8th Grade Graduate

“I have gained much knowledge from this grade. I am now more skillful in all subjects, and have experienced tremendous wins. I have benefited enormously from all of the courses I have completed, and I am eternally grateful to be privileged to attend such an extraordinary Applied Scholastics school. I definitely would not be where I am now without Study Technology.

Throughout the course of this grade, I have developed an immense appreciation for writing. I have written several stories. I am extremely excited about going to high school, knowing that I will benefit immensely from everything I’ll learn there. I plan to be a business consultant and am positive that I will receive a good foundation for my future career with Clearwater Academy’s high school program.”

BK – Eighth Grade Graduate

I graduated 10th Grade

“I have just graduated the 10th grade. I am so happy that I graduated my grade I can’t even explain. I learned a great deal of informaiton this year that is so interesting.

I’m moving back to Pennsylvania this summer to live with my dad and I will be going back to my public high school. I am very glad that I got the chance to come to this school and learn all about Study Technology. I will now be able to learn and apply what I learn so much easier and more efficiently. I will take with me what I learned and apply it.

I’m very glad I got to come to Clearwater Academy International and meet all the people that I did and learn all that I did. I will never forget this school or the people. Everyone has been so very kind to me . I want to thank everyone for everything and say goodbye.”

CAI is better than home school

“At any other school I might have taken my daughter out and kept her at home a few years longer, as I had done with her two older brothers. After all, there is no real educational purpose in keeping a three year old in school. It’s just daycare, right? WRONG! After observing the classroom for a few short days I could see that she was going to be able to excel educationally, and at her own pace. I was thrilled with the fact that even the preschool students were expected to make targets. Soon I could see her excelling at a rapid pace – her confidence growing. I was stunned at how much she was able to accomplish at three years of age! Had I kept her at home I never would have known how capable she is, and how excited she is to be learning.”

“She is so proud of herself, and I am thrilled with her accomplishments. I KNOW that this growth would not have occurred under conditions that were not ideal. My deepest appreciation and admiration go to her teachers. I have a confident, happy little girl who loves learning. She has had the best introduction to school that I could have ever hoped for. Thank you for this.”

Sucess Story from a Parent

“Since bringing my daughter to CAI she has grown and changed in many ways. When she first started coming to the school she wouldn’t get out of the car. I was worried about how she was going to make it. Without the caring of the staff she and I would have stayed in this condition. But together we worked out a solution.

It took a couple of months but she has completely changed. She is eager to go to school now. She skips from the car onto the play ground. This is great, but the real change I am talking about is at home after school. This weekend she described her homework of caring for her environment.

She was totally enthusiastic about this assignment. When describing it to a dinner guest she perfectly defined environment. I asked her how she got such a good definition. She said, “Gail” [K-2 teacher]. ”

“What blew me away was what I saw tonight. At night [my kids] end up reading to themselves, if able to, if not they look at books. [My daughter] was at the looking stage last weekend. Tonight I went into her room she was reading “Green Eggs and Ham” to herself. Literally, reading to herself. I couldn’t believe it. Again I asked where she learned to read so good she said , “Gail.”

“I am sure that story is thank you enough for all the patience, and care you have given [my daughter]. It is such a beautiful thing to have her as a contributing member of our family. Thank you again.”

Thank you Clearwater Academy

“I would like to thank all the staff here at CAI for helping me to realize my potential and for giving all the students here a chance to become exactly who they dream to be.

Finally, I would like to thank L.Ron Hubbard for Study Technology that gives everyone the ability to learn and puts them on the path to becoming whatever they set their minds to.”

Success Story from the Korean student

“I am from Korea and I came here after finishing middle school in order to prepare for an American university.

I have faced many academic challenges over the last few years. Unlike my Korean friends who were doing more advanced math, I was sent back to restudy Algebra II. At first I was worried that I would appear weak to colleges. Wow, was I wrong. In fact, I would like to tell you that I have been accepted to 11 highly ranked universities, including Vanderbilt and have been offered several scholarships.

In Korea, math was one of my weaker subjects, the one that always pulled my grades down and was a constant source of frustration. After completing Algebra II, my basics were in solidly. During the last summer break, I went back to Korea to receive math tutoring to prepare for my SAT’s. I was intimidated at first because most of my friends were already taking calculus. However, the funny thing was, that they had totally forgotten their basic math and were constantly asking me for help!

Now, here’s the really good part: I not only ended up getting an 800, a perfect score, on my SAT math test, but I also got an 800 on the more advanced subject test, the test that “math jocks” take to impress colleges. There is no doubt in my mind that applying Study Technology in math and then doing extensive drilling were the reasons for my success.”
